Did you know that using I am Learning has been proven to improve students understanding of the core subjects of English, Maths and Science whilst giving students the chance to improve their exam grades (at GCSE) by up to 16% with regular use.
The games-based revision site at www.iamlearning.co.uk has been enthusiastically used by all our students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and we want that to continue through the holiday period. This is the time when research shows that students lose the edge on learning, making it more difficult to get back into learning when they return to school in September.
Students in Key Stages 3 and 4 are invited to log on to I am Learning every week and carry out the week's challenge - a quiz or subject challenge - and score as high as they can whilst earning points to unlock games. Students who complete all challenges will be entered into a draw in September to win an iTunes gift voucher.
The I am Learning site now has Parent log-ons where parents can watch their children’s progress and get involved in their learning at home. Download the letter using the link below, fill in the form and return it to school—your log-on details will be emailed to you.
