Learners from Garforth Academy's partner, Mzuvele High School, arrive in Garforth on Thursday 4th July for an eight day visit coinciding with the Garforth Arts Festival. The learners are all members of the Mzuvele High School Choir and they will be performing at the Playground Party.
The knitted banner was made by Garforth Jazz Rock Band member Gabby Kirby and her mum, Debbie. Gabby visited Mzuvele in 2011 as part of the GJRB and will be working with the Choir as they record some new material during their visit. The banner is going to go back with the Choir to be hung at Mzuvele High School.
