Biology paper 1: Cell Biology, Organisation, Infectious Disease and Response, Bioenergetics 

Chemistry paper 1: Atomic structure, Bonding, Quantitative Chemistry, Chemical Changes, Energy Changes 

Physics paper 1: Energy, Electricity, Particle Model of Matter, Atomic Structure

Weighting: 50% of overall qualification

Course Summary:

Over the course of the 2 years that Combined Science is delivered, students will cover a range of topics in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  This qualification is 2 GCSEs in Combined Science.  Students will cover theoretical aspects as well as a range of required practicals.  There is no coursework element to this qualification.  Knowledge of practical work will be assessed in the written examinations.
