Post 16 Student Council

Our Sixth Form students have the opportunity to have their say and provide feedback on how the Sixth Form is run through the Post 16 Student Council. This is led by two Head Students, that are elected by their peers following a presentation to them outlining why they are suitable candidates for the role.

Our Head Students represent the entire student cohort in the Sixth Form and so have a responsibility to gather information and feed back the thoughts of students to the learning managers and Head of Sixth Form. They are also responsible for representing the Sixth Form at whole school events such as Open Evening as well as helping to organise the Y13 Prom celebration and yearbook.

This year’s Head Students are Matthew Carr and Josh Atha. They are assisted by a range of fellow Post 16 students to form our student council.
